Avocado Toast | Healthy Breakfasts
My love for avocado grows daily. It’s delicious, filling and full of healthy fat ! My go to breakfast is avocado toast with a fried egg but I do try to experiment once in a while. Here’s a list of delicious toppings that I have tried and tasted and loved !
Basic Avocado Toast
Take a slice of toast, smash an avocado and add salt and pepper to taste – simple, quick and yummy. Can add some hot sauce if you like.
Fried Egg Avocado Toast
Take your basic toast (as shown above) and top it off with a fried egg. Yes it’s THAT EASY !
Hummus Avocado Toast
Add hummus into mashed avocado, drizzle some olive oil, top it off with some zaatar. You could try it with flavoured hummus but I like the basic one most.
Black Bean and Salsa Avocado
Those of you asking me where to get black beans from – I only shop on The Shop Of Good Taste . Basic avocado toast + cilantro + salsa + black beans and you’re sorted.
Strawberry Balsamic Avocado Toast
Balsamic Vinegar from my favourite – The Shop Of Good Taste .
Slice strawberries + basic avocado toast + drizzle balsamic vinegar – you will be surprised at how much you love this combination.
Avocado Toast Med Style
Basic avocado toast + chickpeas + tomato + feta cheese (crumbled)+ tomatoes and top with olive oil drizzle + fresh basil.
Chocolate Avocado Toast
Yes ! Chocolate ! I mix nutella into a mashed avocado and top it with berries on a toast. Delicious and not so sinful.
