Mumbai Rains | How to spend a rainy day in | 10 Books to get NOW !
A rainy day brings with it mixed feelings. I remember wading through waist high water in 2005 from Andheri to Khar and hating every minute of the experience. Then there are those people who love sitting by the window sill and enjoying the Mumbai Rains as they sip a hot cuppa.
Fortunately this year, I have been at home or in the office on such ‘rainy’ days and that has put me in the second category. As I sit sipping a hot cup of coffee today (grateful to be indoors), I wanted to share a few fun books that I have come to read and love this year. They’re not classics but make for fun, interesting and even light reading and I am sure there is one book that you will relate to or will interest you for sure. I still prefer paperbacks and hardcovers (nothing like holding a book) but for those of you who are stranded at home, you may look for the kindle versions to these books.
Infact I think since I spend so much time reading, I will share new reading lists and recommendations on a regular basis ! Perfect for travel (specially airports and aircrafts) and for times when you’re home on a weekend and want to do nothing but chill in your PJ’s, these books are the perfect companion for the recluse in you ! So go on, enjoy reading them and stay safe as you brace the Mumbai rains !!
P.S. tell me what you think of these books, which ones you loved or hated and if you’ve got any others you would like to recommend ! You can email me on firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment here !
