What’s For Breakfas? Recipes for everyone…
Yes I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Every nutritionist, doctor and fitness freak will tell you that. However, I often struggle with menu creation for a fussy eater like Mr. K. He loves his flavours and food but wants the food to be healthy and light. At the same time, he wants his breakfast to be garlic free…I get it, who wants to start a day with a garlic / onion rich meal ???
So through a series of posts I promise to share recipes that work for us through the day. Not only those that we make and try for breakfast but also those that work for lunch and dinner. I remember when mom would ask us ‘ what shall I make for dinner ?’ and how annoying it was for us to answer that…well I know exactly what she was thinking and how she felt when we said make whatever you want and then cribbed about meals we didn’t like.
Inspired by my love for good food, our travels and experiences at few of the world’s finest hotels and food establishments, I have embarked on a journey to try out recipes that we would love to order and have tried to come up with slight tweaks to make them slightly healthier.
Disclaimer : Recipes may not totally be mine, they will be recipes I have inherited through mom, grandmom, aunts or have discovered through cookbooks and online searches…I may or may not have fine tuned them to suit our dietary needs and tastes ….however the one thing I can assure you is that they will be fairly easy to make. I’m no master chef and if I can execute a recipe, I’m sure anybody can !
