I love DIY and art and craft, so it is but natural that I would want Shloka to pick things up and to get her to do fun stuff too. At 15 months, there's only that much she can do and so here is a fun Xmas activity that we did to put onto our beautiful tree. Something that you may be able to try at home with your toddler as well.
What you will need -
1. A paper plate or a bigger round paper that will form the base of your 'bauble'
2. Non Toxic Glue - we have the Amazon non toxic glue that is easy to use and not messy for the baby.
3. Smaller circles in a variety of fun colours to stick onto your bauble.
4. A ribbon to tie the bauble to on the tree.
Simply get your baby to spread glue onto the small circles, get them to 'stick' and 'press' them onto the bauble and create their very own personalised Christmas ornaments. Encourage them to feel the textures of the glue, the paper plate, introduce them to the shape 'circle' and have some fun.
Don't leave them unsupervised.
You could laminate your bauble and hang it onto your tree. If you don't have one, fret not - string a bunch of baubles together onto a ribbon and make a merry bunting.
