Craft :
Inspired from the crafts of Kutch and Bhagalpur, Kavana celebrates 'Hand Woven Linen Zari','Natural Dyeing' and 'Hand embroidery'.
Zari art is believed to have originated in Persia in 1000 BC, where the gold threads were weaved along with Silk for the royal personas. It came to India along with persian migrants and has flourished during the Mughal era. The odhani is dip dyed in Red and Maroon colors extracted naturally from plants and roots to give it a harmonious look. It has then been hand embroidered to provide a distinguished look.
